Founder and Ceramicist Leeann Fox started Arrows Aim Greenhouse Supply & Co. with just a website in 2020. Fox built a mobile greenhouse soon afterward, which is now the PNW’s longest-running mobile plant shop, according to their website. In 2025, they opened their first brick-and-mortar in downtown Mount Vernon after six years of significant growth.

The small team at Arrows Aim is composed of houseplant lovers who are passionate about sustainability, with business practices that prioritize environmentally conscious disease and pest control and workers’ rights. Fox’s love for plants and helping people are the main reasons why the greenhouse began and is the reason for its continued success.

“I really wanted to share my passion for growing plants and wanted to do it in a way that is really education-focused. It’s so important to me to help people build their skills as growers, remove barriers to the hobby, and to ignite people’s curiosity about plants in a way that keeps them inspired,” says Fox.

Her main pride and joy is the community she’s cultivated over the years from meeting people’s family members and giving people a safe space away from the hubbub of everyday life.

“People come with questions, to introduce their friends and family, to enjoy the safety of the space, and to just be,” they say. “To me, that’s my proudest accomplishment: offering joy and support to the community.”

Speaking of people, Fox has some advice for new plant parents. She says that when choosing plants, it’s important to pay attention to spaces in your home that have particular amounts of sunlight, and find plants that thrive with that amount of sun. Matching a plant to your space is the easiest way to care for it.

“In a few short questions, I can always get someone set up with the right plant. People tell me all the time that the plants they get from me are their most successful. That’s all about education,” says Fox.

Fox has all of the knowledge to help customers and a wide array of plants, and they’ve also created a greenhouse that has something for everyone. Arrows Aim offers plant stickers with eyeballs, handmade ceramics (designed for plant health), patches, T-shirts, growing supplies, plant hangers, and of course, plants (with an under $20 section!).

10% of profits from all sales go to local and national organizations that help people facing the impacts of incarceration. If you’re checking out online, feel free to mention one of the following three organizations in the “notes” section to choose where you’d like your 10% to go: The Freedom Project, National Bail Out, or Arms Around You.

Arrows Aim Greenhouse mobile plant shop can pop-up anywhere from Bellingham to Bend, Oregon, so keep your eyes peeled! They also host pop-ups, workshops, and events at their headquarters in Mount Vernon.

“Every other month, we host a free community book swap (our next is in July), and we also highlight other small businesses like Big Bad Bookstore and Little Orchid Annie. It’s so meaningful to share the space,” says Fox. 219 S. 1st St., Mount Vernon, arrowsaim.com
