Samish Park reopened after two summers of restoration and repairs. The southern Whatcom County park was closed in May 2024 due to the reconstruction of the North Lake Samish Bridge. After the bridge work was completed, other areas of the park were also treated to restoration. The park reopened last November, re-establishing access to one of the only public beaches on Lake Samish and reviving a summertime staple for sun-loving locals.
