The moment you walk into Tulalip Resort Casino, you’re immersed in the cultural character and polished amenities that define their regional standard of excellence. The resort is a getaway destination that offers guests a comprehensive premier experience, including 370 luxurious guest rooms and suites, the indoor Oasis Pool, high-end boutique shopping, gaming, a DraftKings Sportsbook, entertainment, restaurants—all of which would be incomplete without the T-Spa.

T-Spa is a full-service luxury spa on the hotel tower’s second floor at Tulalip Resort Casino. It’s been a part of the resort’s offerings since the hotel opened in 2008, 16 years after the casino. The resort has been regularly awarded AAA’s Four Diamond status, in no small part thanks to the outstanding customized care guests receive at T-Spa.

“Our hotel is AAA Four Diamond, and I truly attribute that to all the offerings we have,” says Samora Joseph, Director of Spa and Retail Operations at Tulalip Resort Casino. Joseph, a Tulalip Tribes member, has worked at Tulalip for 30 years, and became the spa director around four years ago.

“It’s been an invigorating journey with lots of learning along the way. I’m happy to be part of the T-Spa now. It’s challenging, an opportunity to learn more,” she says. “When you’re operating a spa … that has everything that we offer, the expectations are just higher.”

T-Spa inhabits 14,000 square feet, and was designed with guest satisfaction and Tulalip culture in mind. It evokes nature, with flowing hallways, branching room systems, stone feature walls, foliage, river rocks, and scenic murals throughout. Red accent lights fill the space with warmth, representing the grounding strength of the sun, according to Joseph. Treatment rooms are cleansed with sage at the discretion of their therapists, so negative energy never takes hold.

When you visit, you’ll begin at the welcoming reception area and boutique, where they sell Eminence Organic Skin Care, among other body, skin, beauty, and hair care products in full and travel sizes. When you follow the river-like hallway back into the spa, you’ll find their separate men’s and women’s lounges, locker rooms, grotto showers, cedar dry saunas, and steam rooms. Beyond that, there are 14 treatment rooms, some with special features like couples beds, fireplaces, showers, and even deep jetted tubs.

T-Spa provides a full range of services that can add something to anybody’s vacation. Joseph points out that many of their offerings are result-driven, meaning that you’ll be able to see and feel the difference right away. Some of those are more cosmetic in nature—manicures and pedicures, tanning, waxing, eyelash and eyebrow services, and teeth whitening, for example. Others leave you feeling transformed through luxurious skincare, facials, and massage. Partially so that guests don’t become overwhelmed, T-Spa’s menu starts off with base options that you can build upon to create your perfect tailored spa day. Popular add-ons are cupping, body scrubs, and scalp massages.

When you call to make your spa reservations, you can even work with a representative to organize the order of your treatments—for instance, you might plan to start with a hydrotherapy soak, move on to a body wrap, deep tissue massage, and anti-aging facial, take a break for lunch in the lounge, then finish up with a manicure and teeth whitening. Between deeply healing spa rituals and appearance-polishing esthetic services, T-Spa is a must-visit for every guest at Tulalip Resort Casino.
