For this recent renovation, our clients came to us with a clear vision: while they love to cook and entertain, the current layout of their home was making it difficult to connect with guests and prepare meals at the same time. They imagined an open and inviting floorplan that fostered an effortless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living spaces, in addition to a new, luxurious primary suite designed for comfort and retreat after long evenings hosting. We worked closely with the homeowners throughout the entirety of the renovation process to fully understand how they envisioned using their space—because we believe collaboration is essential in empowering our team to deliver results that exceed expectations.

To bring this vision to life, we began by removing the walls that had long separated the kitchen from the adjoining rooms to open up the space and create a seamless living environment. One of the most significant challenges of redefining the floorplan was removing a major structural wall that closed off the kitchen. With careful planning and precise engineering, we were able to install a large support beam in the ceiling to properly maintain the structural integrity of the house while also giving our clients the open-concept layout they’ve been dreaming of.

Beyond transforming the main living area, we also converted what was previously their garage into a stunning primary suite—complete with a walk-in closet, sitting area, en suite bathroom, and a convenient laundry space. This addition elevates both function and comfort, offering a private retreat right within the home.

This project also came with a unique twist: the original owners had physically moved the home to its current location by splitting it in two for transport, resulting in uneven floors and ceilings throughout. Correcting these unique irregularities required extensive leveling work to ensure flawless installation of new flooring and cabinetry.

The final result is a modern, spacious, and connected home. Now the homeowners can cook, entertain, and unwind in a space that naturally and seamlessly flows together. We are more than thrilled with how the project came together—both visually and structurally—and we are proud to leave our clients with a home that feels even better than they imagined.
