Happy Birthday Baywood Coffee! This May, this cozy Birch Bay coffee shop celebrates two years of cultivating a community atmosphere by the beach.

Owner Antonie Inthavong opened Baywood Coffee in 2024, taking over the former Birch Bay Teriyaki and Chinese Cafe space from his parents. The business continues to be a family affair, and the spirit of familiarity can be seen in the friendly banter between patrons who frequent this beachside cafe.
Baywood is the perfect spot to grab a drink or snack before your beach walk. Inthavong says the Golden Honey Latte is a crowd favorite, and he’s particularly fond of the Biscoff Cookie Butter Latte, which uses real Biscoff cookie butter.
This spacious cafe is also the perfect spot to linger for hours with friends, new and old. With ample seating and table space, as well as books and board games, it’s the perfect spot to curl up on a rainy day. There’s a rotating cast of regulars who utilize the space for a number of activities, including art groups, crochet, and scrapbooking. And be sure to check out the corner of the cafe dedicated to crafts and handiwork from talented local artists, inspired by the landscapes of the coast.
