In past years, the expo has hosted events such as an egg hunt, a live wood auction, a bingo bash, line dancing, and even a circus show. In addition to all this fun, visitors will get the chance to check out a variety of milling demonstrations, as well as educational talks with master carpenters and expert woodwrights. For just $10, $7 for seniors, and free admission for kids and students with ID, the Skagit Wood Expo is shaping up to be this month’s go-to spot for crafty inspiration and family fun. 510 Taylor St., Mount Vernon, skagitwoodexpo.com
