Since its founding in 1973 by Bob and Polly Winkelman, Big Lake Trees has been an entirely family-run business, giving it local charm and flavor. Customers have plenty of variety to choose from, including (but not limited to) Noble Fir, Grand Fir, Scotch Pine and Norway Spruce.

Barn Lenning Farms has been a prominent grower and harvester of a variety of crops in Skagit Valley for fi ve generations. Behind their famous Berry Barn lies 15 acres of Christmas trees to pick from. This family business really is a family affair – you’re likely to find one of three generations helping out on the farm at any time. Five acres of trees – Douglas Firs, Grand Firs and Nobles – from 4 feet to 12 feet (plus a few of the “Charlie Brown” variety) offer plenty of choices. Free candy canes for the kids, along with wreaths and metal art to purchase from the Ferndale FFA club, add to the holiday cheer.
