Blaine’s Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration
8 a.m. – 10:15 p.m.
Start the Fourth with a hearty pancake breakfast and end it with a fireworks show over the bay—with lots of family activities in between! Check out more than 200 vintage and unique cars, listen to bands while grabbing a brew at the beer garden, and don’t miss the annual parade at noon.

Eastsound Celebrations
9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Eastsound is hosting a full day of fun 4th of July events. Run the Funhouse 5K starting at 9 a.m. in the Village Green. After some rest, head over to Waterfront Park for spectacular views of the evening fireworks show. The Community Band will play in the park starting at 9 p.m.

Beer, Barbeque, and Trucks in Lynden
10:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Show off your American spirit with a good beer in downtown Lynden. This family-friendly event features face painting by Darla, live music by J.P. Falcon Band, and food from JT’s Smokin’ BBQ.

Haggen 4th of July Celebration
2 p.m. – 11 p.m.
The 4th of July is always a good time at Squalicum Harbor. Adults can enjoy the beer garden while Allied Arts and the Bellingham Circus Guild provide kid-friendly entertainment. Bring your own picnic or eat at the many local vendors as you listen to local musical performances by the bay. With limited parking available, free passenger shuttles are available to pick attendees up at Bellingham High School.

A Fabulous Mount Vernon Independence Day
7 p.m.
Come celebrate Independence Day in the city named after our first president’s estate. There’ll be food vendors, a concert, and plenty of friends in Edgewater Park. The fireworks show starts at dusk, so bring a blanket and a flashlight.

Parade, Picnic, and Fireworks over Friday Harbor
10:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
After the morning parade on Spring Street, make your way to the Kiwanis “Pig War Picnic” for a day of food, music, and games. In the evening, dance to a music show held in the Port parking lot before enjoying a fireworks show put on by an award-winning pyrotechnics team.
