1. For a quick and delicious hot lunch, swing by Leaf & Ladle and get yourself a Seasonal Panini. It’s stuffed with thinly sliced apples, a thick layer of ham, and gooey, melted brie cheese.

2. Banh Mi & Bubble Tea might be Bellingham’s favorite food truck, and though the banh mi is delicious, you’ve got to try the Fried BBQ Pork Buns—crispy and fluffy fried buns filled with BBQ pork.

3. For a savory pie that satisfies multiple cravings, get the C.B.R. from McKay’s Taphouse. It’s a chicken-bacon-ranch pizza with spiced chicken breast, bits of bacon, and mozzarella cheese.

4. Although these Vegan Wontons at Redlight Kitchen & Bar change with the seasons, we simply had to tell you about the ones we tried last fall! Stuffed with pumpkin, ginger, mushrooms, garlic, and five-spice, these were an absolute delight.

5. Thai Maison always impresses with their menu! We recently tried the Salted Egg Yolk Calamari, which was totally new to us: rings of calamari in a creamy salted egg yolk sauce. It certainly left an impression!

6. If you haven’t been to Haan’s Tandoor & Bar in Ferndale yet, you’ve got to go! We tried a classic Chicken Tikka Masala there that had us raving.

7. Don’t sleep on Makeworth Coffee RoastersSalted Truffle Cookie! This chocolate delicacy is rich and melts in your mouth. Anyone with a sweet tooth will find this dessert option overtly satisfying!

8. Looking for a new lunch special? At Penny Farthing Bar & Restaurant, a Half Sandwich & Soup will only cost you $14, and you won’t be disappointed. We had the Caprese Sandwich and seasonal potato leek soup, a fresh and filling combo!
