On October 22nd, 2023, after a four-year hiatus, the Northwest Mushroomers Association is hosting their 31st Annual Wild Mushroom Show at the Viking Union at WWU from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, $5 for NMA members, and free for children under 12! The Whatcom Horticulture Society hosts Linda Cochran, an accomplished plantswoman and long-time Pacific Northwest gardener who will share her stunning photography while she tells us about her drought-tolerant garden that features many plants native to the arid west. Linda spends much of her time in the summer traveling to wildflower hot spots in the region and photographing wildflowers.
