1. Fuel up for a big day with the Barnyard Benedict at Sweet Bay Cafe. The poached eggs are served with bacon or ham on an English muffin, covered in country gravy, with hollandaise and hash browns to boot!

2. MOTO recently opened in Bellingham with its Detroit-style “odd pizza!” We tried the Root Pizza, a mushroom mix pie with olives, onions, and balsamic glaze, and the Black Garlic Cheezy Bread—make sure you come ready for these big flavors!

3. On a recent visit to Village Books, we stopped at Next Chapter—the Pork Adobo special was perfectly seasoned, and of course we had to grab a rich, chocolatey Nanaimo Bar for dessert.

4. YunGaNe’s buchingae, also known as Korean pancakes, are a delicious way to satisfy your cravings for savory fried food! In their Vegetable Pancake, veggies are soaked in thick batter and panfried!

5. The brewpub menu at Aslan Brewing Co goes way beyond the average bar food. We were blown away by the Southwest Bowl, with cilantro slaw, avocado crema, black bean puree, cotija cheese, and fire roasted salsa with tortilla strips.

6. When those rare sunny days hit, head to The Oyster Shuckers in Bow and grab a seat in their lovely outdoor area. The Garlic Grilled Oysters are delicious!

7. From gone-viral HI Tide Coffee, the Maple Sea Salt Latte has been a fall favorite! It’s made with real maple syrup and natural Utah sea salt.

8. Hela Provisions entered Sustainable Connections’s Sandwich Showdown with a real banger: the Hela Hot Girl Hoagie includes salami, ham, provolone, and bread from local producers, plus their own Calabrian chili sauce. It’s a real hottie!
