As a culmination of a decade of celebrations, the 2026 Bellingham SeaFeast celebrates the maritime community that sits at the core of the Puget Sound. The event, which is free to enter, offers the chance for over 25 local vendors with their own distinct food specialties to shine a light on what they do.
From Luke’s Lobster and Galley2Go Fish and Chips, to Dane Good Coffee Company and Sugar and Spice Donuts, there’s something for everyone, but the ties between the ocean and the local culture are at the center of the festival. Special mention goes to a Cha’kos fire pit from the Lummi seafood market, serving traditional salmon dishes.
It’s not just for adults, either! They have kid-focused events such as boat building with the Whatcom Maritime Museum and a pirate and dinosaur parade with live music and artwork that appeals to all ages.
Those looking to learn can see a live demonstration of a U.S. Coast Guard sea rescue, or attend one of the Meet Your Fisherman events taking place during the SeaFeast.
Behind-the-scenes industry tours are available for those who want a look into the day-to-day details of the work being celebrated, while anyone feeling adventurous can set sail on a multiple-day voyage with Pacific Catalyst.
