U-Cut Farms Bring Holiday Spirit (and Lots of Needles) Home

There is something extra special about cutting down the family Christmas tree yourself. Maybe it is the spitting rain that is likely to accompany any December day in the Pacific Northwest. It could be the fun of attempting to remember those fancy knots your dad taught you as a kid when it’s time to wrangle twine around your pine and roof rack. Or is it all those tiny needles that seem to litter your home into the new year? And for those hearty souls willing to brave the elements and bring that sweet-smelling symbol of Christmas into their home, here are a list of favorite“U-cut” farms in the north sound. –Kate Galambos
