A six week class one evening a week designed for intermediate and advanced students. This course will walk you through the whole design process – from start to finish, strengthen your skills and help you problem solve in the studio. Enrolled students will bring three design ideas for their project to the first class. Students should have a basic understanding of forging metals using hammers and stakes, piercing and use of the jeweler’s saw, sanding, polishing, filing and finishing techniques. February 17, 24, March 2, 9 16 & 23 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Prerequisites: 18 years or older with Basic Jewelry Metalsmithing skiIls.
