The mission of the Orcas Island Lit Fest is to bring together people who love to read books with the authors who love to write them. The Lit Fest is inviting a select group of authors to beautiful Orcas Island, Washington, to join local and regional writers in sharing their art, wisdom, and know-how.

The Orcas Island Lit Fest (OILF) is an annual celebration of literature and community held in an inspiringly beautiful place. In April 2019, we’ll bring together renowned authors and avid readers, visitors and locals, for three days of panels, readings, and events that highlight the vibrant literary culture of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. OILF is your opportunity to engage with world-class writers and their work in an intimate, inclusive setting that welcomes everyone who loves books.
