Fairhaven Summer Rep’s 2023 season features three plays by three female playwrights, performed in repertory six nights a week for four weeks:
“What the Constitution Means to Me” by Heidi Schreck
“A boundary-breaking play that “breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans.”
Concord Theatricals
“Gideon’s Knot” by Joanna Adams
“…a particularly eloquent study of people caught between the competing demands of reason, morality and family…a narrative that is as elegant as it is chilling.”
Washington Post
“Keely and Du” by Jane Martin
“A volatile drama about abortion, Keely and Du is a mind-probing issue play with a gripping human face. What is the extent of individual freedom? What are a rape victim’s rights? Their passionate stories exist on the extreme edge of everyday reality.”
