BMC June evening program features baritone Richard Hodges, renowned opera performer, composer, and educator—and Jay Rozendaal, a world-class voice coach and pianist who calls Bellingham his home—in a special performance to close its 109th season.
The program includes works by Verdi, Vaughan Williams, Margaret Bonds, Nathaniel Dett, and Dr. Hodges. Special guests: soprano Heather Dudenbostel joins Hodges and Rozendaal for a Mozart aria and a song by Stephen Sondheim, and Eli Schille-Hudson comes in to perform a song cycle for baritone and guitar by John Rutter.
Full-length BMC Night Beat is on Thursday, June 5, 7:30pm at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham. No ticket purchase required; we suggest a $20 donation. All are welcome and students are always free!
