The Skagit River Poetry Foundation presents a whimsical evening as they invite the community to support their mission to build literacy through poetry during their 3rd Annual Auction, Saturday June 24th. 5:00PM to 9:00PM, Hillcrest Park Lodge, Mount Vernon, WA. The theme will be Shakespeare’s, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The featured event will be the live and silent auction. This magical event will include a delicious Dessert Dash, Raise-Your-Hand for Kids, Photo Booth with costumes and props, themed games, and Greek appetizers. When you support the Skagit River Poetry Foundation (nonprofit org) you support student learning and community enrichment as they collaborate with poets from around the nation to bring poetry into the classroom every school year and into our community as they host the Skagit River Poetry Festival, which is held every other October in La Conner, WA.
