SUMMARY:AudaTours Bellingham Audio Tour: Echoes of Ambition and Architectural Gems
DESCRIPTION:Rain once fell sideways on Bellingham’s streets as political rivals traded jabs and secrets echoed off stone and steel. This city hides more than meets the eye-its corners remember duels of visionaries\, hushed scandals\, and legends all but lost. \nUnlock the story of Bellingham with a self-guided audio tour designed for curious wanderers. Each stop reveals the drama behind the facades\, giving you access to tales that most visitors never hear. \nWho once vanished from the Flatiron Building after midnight\, sparking years of whispers? What rare artifact was stashed beneath the Bellingham Public Library’s quiet floors? Why do seagulls gather by the waterfront each spring\, ignoring every human attempt to drive them away? \nFollow twisting streets and waterfront breezes to uncover rebellion\, ambition and forgotten moments. Let curiosity pull you through stone archways and sunlit boardwalks as the city’s secret past unfurls at your feet. \nBegin your journey and discover how deep Bellingham’s stories truly go.

SUMMARY:Rick Steves: Travel as a Political Act
DESCRIPTION:Americans accustomed to global travel find themselves on uncharted ground today — as citizens of a nation whose president is hostile to the governments of countries most visited by Americans. What does this recent rupture of longstanding ties with U.S. allies mean for Americans who travel overseas? America’s foremost travel writer\, Rick Steves\, believes there’s more to travel than good food and fun in the sun. By venturing out of their comfort zones\, American travelers can gain an empathy for the other 96 percent of humanity and a better understanding of the interconnectedness of today’s world. In a provocative slideshow lecture\, Rick draws from lessons learned in a lifetime of travel to illustrate how\, when Americans “travel as a political act\,” they come home with the greatest of all souvenirs: a broader perspective.
