He will also present a survey of some mushroom art he’s seen in local gardens. \nFred M. Rhoades is a mycologist/lichenologist\, retired instructor\, and current research associate in the Biology Department at Western Washington University. He lives in Bellingham\, where he continues to pursue his interests in gardening\, cryptogamic botany (lower spore producing\, plant-like organisms)\, and natural-history photography.
