DESCRIPTION:Dog Days of Summer Virtual Walk registration opens June 1 to July 31\nRegistration is $20 for kids and $25 for adults\, you will receive a DDOS T-shirt and official Race bib.\nDog enthusiasts will gather on Sunday\, August 23rd to walk or run at your own pace\, for your own distance\, in your own neighborhood\, local park\, hiking trail or even your backyard. Walk with your canine companion – or register and sponsor a WHS volunteer to walk a shelter dog during the day. Throughout the day on Aug 23rd\, post photos wearing your Dog Days of Summer At Home bib number and tee shirt and you can win DOGGONE FUN prizes and support the animals at the Whatcom Humane Society at the same time.

SUMMARY:Trivia Night for the Whatcom Literacy Council
DESCRIPTION:Randall Ragsdale of World’s Best Trivia will be hosting an online Trivia Night for the Whatcom Literacy Council on Friday\, July 31st from 6:30 pm- 9:15 pm. on ZOOM. Captains can register a team of five for only $50 (that’s only $10 per person!) with proceeds going to our free adult literacy programs. This online game will be hosted on ZOOM\, so recruit your friends and family from near and far to play. There will be four rounds of eight questions\, with several raffle items given out during the game. It will be LOTS OF FUN\, and a great way to spend time with your trivia-loving friends.
