Enjoy a traditional Irish Dinner of corned beef and cabbage provided by Haggen Market Street Catering (vegetarian option available)\, entertainment\, a variety of local brews from Boundary Bay Brewery\, a silent auction\, live music and more! Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Bellingham Senior Activity Center and at https://whatcomcoa.org. Tickets will sell out quickly\, so don’t wait to get yours! \nAll proceeds of the event benefit Meals on Wheels and More\, a program of the Whatcom Council on Aging\, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Meals on Wheels and More supports the health and independence of local seniors by providing freshly prepared\, nutritionally balanced lunches at 12 senior centers and senior residences in Whatcom and San Juan Counties\, and by delivering “Meals on Wheels” to homebound seniors throughout the two counties. DESCRIPTION:4th Festival of Tiny Trees Kicks Off the Holidays in La Conner\n(La Conner\, WA) Enjoy a festive evening of good cheer while supporting a worthwhile cause at the Festival of Tiny Trees on Saturday\, Nov. 23\, 2019. This year’s event\, featuring uniquely themed tabletop trees and 4”x 4” original artworks\, will be held at the Swinomish Yacht Club in La Conner from 6-8:30 pm. The yacht club is located at 310 N 1st St in La Conner.\nTwenty decorated trees created by individuals\, organizations and local businesses will be available in a silent auction\, followed by a live auction of 15 small canvass artworks contributed by local artists.\nGuests can vote for their favorite tree\, and the winning tree’s designer will be presented with a People’s Choice Award.\nProceeds from this year’s event will help outfit the community meeting room as part of the new La Conner Swinomish Library.
