Christopher utilizes traditional glass blowing techniques in combination with experimental sculpting procedures. He has been blowing glass for over 30 years and teaching for 25 years. His work is shown in over 45 galleries throughout the United States and internationally. Previously, he worked for the Seattle Glassblowing Studio, Pratt Fine Arts Center, and Chihuly Inc. all in Seattle, Washington; and the Tom Philabaum Glass Studio and the Steve Clements Glass Art studio in Tucson, Arizona. Christopher’s professional affiliations include Vice Chairperson of the Bellingham Arts Commission, Board Member of Whatcom Museum of Art, member of American Craft Council, and member of Glass Art Society. In March of 2005, he was honored and received a Mayor’s Arts Award, which recognized him as an outstanding individual artist in Bellingham, Washington.
