Do the warm temperatures and sunshine have you energized to make a move or begin some home improvement projects? Find all the inspiration you need and more this Saturday at the Seattle Modern Home Tour. It’s like stepping into the pages of Dwell with the opportunity to visit with homeowners and architects and ask questions about design features.
This year’s tour offers eight stunning specimens of modern architecture located throughout the Seattle metro area. They include a passive house, a penthouse loft, a houseboat, and more. Locations vary from the eastern shore of Lake Union to Madison Park to Kirkland.
Featured architects include BDR Homes, Ben Trogdon Architects, SHED Architecture & Design, Lanker Design, atellierjones, LLC, David Coleman, Hybrid Architecture, and Malboeuf-Bowie Architecture.
Participating homes will open their doors for viewing from 11:00 AM – 5:00 p.m. this Saturday, April 30. The tour is self-guided, with the help of a map and GPS. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 on the day of the tour. Children twelve years and older are welcome.
